Tips of the Season
October – December
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere
I go…
Here it is October and already shops have filled with holiday
items and décor! Isn’t it too early to plan
for the holidays? No!
Now
is the time to start your holidays off right for a stress
free Christmas, Chanukah or Kwanzai.
Making
a list, checking it twice
Start your holiday shopping list now. Inventory your “hidden
goodies” closet and list previous purchases for family
members. Brainstorm potential gifts before you go to the
store, spending minimal shopping time there.
Silver
Bells
Determine your holiday budget. Too many families
pay holiday expenses through March with high credit card
interest. Set aside a monthly amount for these upcoming
expenses too and follow through with this decision.
Jingle
bell time is a swell time
Calendar it! Spend planning time penciling in all your family
and outside events. Whether your family’s annual tradition
to see the Nutcracker or when you will put up the tree,
write it in your calendar.
I'll
be home for Christmas
Prioritize what is truly important to your and your family.
Every family has a full schedule before the holidays, so
de-stress by only accepting invitations and making plans
for what is truly meaningful to you and your family.
Wishing
you a blessed Thanksgiving and a joyous holiday season!
