Ready, set, shop! Starting in late October, the holiday shopping season is upon us! Each year we vow to get this part of holiday festivities more organized. Use these strategies as you share holiday gift giving with those you love.
Remember all those gifts you have purchased throughout the year on sale or discounted? Create a gift “storage” area to keep your purchases together. Set aside a bin, closet or cabinet just for this purpose. Make a list, adding to the list as you add items, and post the list on the lid or door so you always know what you have on hand. Even if your gift choice is obscure, “googling” is sure to find that special something!
Be thoughtful of those you love by giving a “consumable” gift. Magazine subscriptions, movie tickets, museum memberships, or gift certificates for services like massages, classes, or dinner all indulgences we truly value.
